You can use this ultra high concentration of glycolic acid for a mini-peel at home. It is washed off after 15 – 20 minutes. If used in this fashion, it can be used on all skin types, but especially therapeutic for acne skin.

Alternatively, if you have extra rough skin with large pores and pigmentation spots, or have already got used to glycolic acid 10% lotion, you can use it regularly without washing it off. This is especially therapeutic in treating skin with lots of acne scars.

The higher concentration of Glycolic Acid helps to remove more dead cells on a thicker skin, and excess oil.

The added tretinoin can further shrink the oily glands and pores, promote the production of collagen and elastic fibres, improve the blood circulation, reduce wrinkles, and even out skin tone and texture. This gives a deeper level of treatment.

This should be avoided if you are pregnant because of the uncertain effect of tretinoin on pregnancy.
